In 2006 I bought a 600 year old house in France. It's only going to take another 200 years to restore it at the rate I'm going. In the meantime, I have been exploring the wonderful, hidden gem that is the Aveyron departement. It's an inviting place full of amazing people, scenery and food. It's full of fantastic stories full of humor, charm and warmth, like the Aveyronnais themselves. Someday I will write about it, but only when the story has been fully told. I'm still living the book and there's still much Aligot and Marcillac left to be consumed. Below are just some of my favorite photos that I've taken on my journeys.
